After reformulating the recipe and revamping of the packaging, Lobels Choco Chunks required agency to craft a relaunch campaign that repositions the product and claim a larger market segment.

BIG IDEA

CHOCO_BOOM
Chocolate is an ingredient loved by all Zimbabweans from all walks of life. The  major desired trait in a biscuit is the crunch, where gthe sensory tasta experience is heightened by chocolate flavour. It is this EXPLOSIVE TASTE quality we aimed to harness in this communication; the experience of Lobels’ Quality Promiser being delivered in an unexpected and fun way allowing it to stand out.

SOCIAL MEDIA

To maximise the reach of the campaign, the CHOCO BOOM BOX CHALLENGE was run weekly on Facebook with #ChocoBOOM being the signoff hashtag on all post and entries.The mechanics were as follows:
1.  Followers send a 30′ audio clip beatboxing the new jingle
2. These clips will be curated into a library
3. Winners will be selected via social follower voting process

Prominent Zimbabwean beatboxer ProBeatz commissioned as an influencer to launch the digital campaign through content in form of beatbox performances and tutorials.
