A speculative TVC concept for the BYD SEAL 6 DM-i Touring, exploring how the harmony between combustion and electric power could be communicated through cinematic storytelling rather than conventional automotive imagery. Inspired by Chinese fantasy and wuxia cinema, the film personifies the two power sources as opposing kung fu masters—one commanding fire and smoke, the other electricity and light. Their elemental battle transitions through the vehicle’s design, technology, comfort and versatility before the two ultimately transform into mystical seals and unite as a Yin-Yang, revealing the hybrid powertrain working in harmony. The concept positions the car not as a compromise between two technologies, but as the beneficiary of both: two forces, working as one.
